Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced course that teaches clinical interventions and recognition of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS), as well as the knowledge and skills to deploy those interventions. ACLS highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics, communication, and systems of care.

This course is longer since it is a two day course that is taught in one day. Students need to come prepared and ready.
