Heartsaver CPR AED is designed to prepare students to provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

As an option upon successful completion of the course, CPR and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.

BLS Provider teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.
